Optimistic Nihilism is a video essay made by Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell, a channel on Youtube. My goals in this book project was to evoke the emptiness of nihilism and the hopelessness of existing in a unfathomably large universe, alongside a tinge of hope in what that entails. I challenged myself to do all this while avoiding signature illustrative style present in Kurzgesagt videos.
