Book Design | Spring 2019
The Cityscape: Racial and Cultural Issues in Blade Runner is an analytical essay written by Alexander Mjöll Young, analyzing themes of identity in the 1982 fantasy/sci-fi movie Blade Runner. The project prompt was to design a book with the essay as the primary copy text. I wanted my book to fold out accordion-style, to reflect how all the nameless lives within the city meld into one big sprawling expanse.
